Crutchfield doesn't carry much high quality stuff, but more name-brand equipment. A lot of Sony, Pioneer, etc. I'm not saying that that is crap, just not top of the line if that's what you're hunting for. Their prices aren't the greatest as well. The benefit of buying from them is they've got great customer support, and will supply anything you need to get it working. i.e. in car audio, they'll give you fitting kits for free if you buy their headunit. They're also authorized to sell everything they have, so you can always get your full warranty thru them. Many companies say, "we do not allow our equipment to be sold by internet retailers, except crutchfield." So if Sony/Pioneer/etc. floats your boat, go for it. Check out UBid for very cheap prices. When they put up 100 items for auction, there's only a certain number of people who want that product at that exact time. So you can end up getting stuff for less than 1/2 the retail.
