Trouble in paradise?

Of course I'm smarter. She has good ideas though.

Edit: She remembers EVERYTHING. Every detail, every date. I'm a better problem solver, but I can't remember anything. I'm more aloof.
 
oh my, this is a running joke in our household.

my children, along with me when i was in school, participate in the gifted program in our local school system. mommy just missed it. so of course, we are smarter than her.


truth be told, she is the smartest tho.
 
Im way smarter when it comes to street senses... but my wife is a brainiac... W&M graduate with a chemistry degree with a minor in biology.

Same here. I have book smarts and am mechanically inclined, my wife is more adept in a social setting, always knowing the right thing to do and say.
I guess that's why she makes more money than me.
 
I like to think I am smarter but the bottom line is she earns more than I do. BTW even though I'm paying child support I still manage to have some savings whereas she still owes money on her credit card.
 
Ive tested with a high IQ, she hasnt... I stopped at a BS in CSI, and she is going for a Doctorate in Psychology... she got better grades than me in college but didnt take the same classes..

Not sure how it is quantifiable... I took the SAT and she took the ACT.... I guess if I ever take the GRE we might find out approximately?

I look at us as equals, each of us are good at certain things, but I think both of us have the potential to learn and do the other persons job... (well maybe not me, Im an ass, and asshole psychologists might be a bad thing 😉
 
I have to say honestly we're about the same. We took an IQ test once- She scored 3 points higher. I don't know how significant those tests are anyway. We each have areas where we excel.
 
The smarter of the two is always the one who admits to being the less intelligent of the two in the others presence. 😉
 
There's some folk wisdom about always marrying someone smarter than yourself. Of course, if everyone tried to follow that advice, there would be no marriages at all.
 
hard to tell...only just met her, but she does a math degree...i do a master Mechanical engineering degree which has most of the math course in it i think lol! though its not as in depth on somethings.
