Which temp monitor is correct when reading my CPU temperature?

Sisoft Sandra: 43 deg. Celcius
Motherboard Monitor 5: 34 deg. Celcius

Are you sure that is ur CPU temp from motherboard monitor? You can get case and CPU temps mixed up in mbm. Try different sensors, and the highest one is usually the CPU.

I don't know. MBM looks confusing lol.

MBM:
"Sensor 1 = 34 Celcius"
"Sensor 2 = 0 Celcius"
"Sensor 3 = 0 Celcius"

Hmm I guess I was wrong. I found the place where you "assign" MBM sensors to the actual sensors in your system.

I have like 4 physical sensors in my system. The 2nd one seems to be reporting my CPU correctly. 44 deg Celcius.

Neither. The temp probe on the motherboard is VERY inaccurate. If you care about your cpu and are overclocking, pic up a compunurse. It's between 10-15 dollars but VERY VERY worth it! Have it touch the side of the core BARELY. i mean like the side, not affecting hte ability to cool the core. It will be as close to accurate as u can get.

I agree with Jokerf15, you need something that can be positioned properly which the onboard sensors can not do.
