Can anyone explain what this guy is about? At least once a week at school this semester, there have been two people that set up this table right in front of campus by the parking garages. Usually people that look in their early 20's. The table always has this poster boards taped around it with stuff written in felt marker like "Would WWIII ruin your christmas?" "Find out the real truth behind the war." "Stop the racist war" "CNN is behind the war" "Lydon LaRouche predicted this 5 years ago" and other crap like that. Also, they have a "Lyndon LaRouche for President" poster hanging up.

You can never get by these guys without them trying to shove some little newspaper thing in your face and saying stuff like "Do you want to find out what's REALLY going on in the world?" and "How are you going feel when you are on the front lines in Afghanistan" and "Learn about Lydon LaRouche." I've never stopped to talk to them, because frankly people that push politics in front of a college with really cheap hand written poster boards with crazy stuff on them, don't sound like my kind of people. And, I'm usually late for class when I pass them.

I'm just curious what the hell this guy is about, is he as kooky as his foot soldiers are making me believe? These guys are really annoying.

He's a whack-job ultra-conservative who was active in the '80s, from what I remember. He did have an almost credible presidential bid (meaning he had national recognition though his actual vote count was tiny). As near as I can recall, he's in jail for tax evasion or something like that.

He's a democrat? that's pretty funny.

From Amused One's link":

<< Is the Washington Post, for example, supporting Israel; does one describe a man who throws a hand grenade as a supporter of that hand grenade. If Israel's Nazis did not exist, the haters of Judaism would have probably had to have created them. >>

That was my favorite part. I didn't understand it at all, but it was my favorite part.

Are you going to Berkeley? Because that's exactly what's going on here. :frown:

And I think I remember seeing LaRouche's name on the Election 2000 ballot, but I had no idea who he was.

Queen Elizabeth was behind the OK bombing? Wow, I guess I was right about him being a loon. Now if those fools would just stop harrassing people on their way to class.

Nope, San Jose State. They must wander down to San Jose State after a rousing day of pushing their agenda at Cal.

FDR-worshipping, fascist whack-job. Strangely he is a democrat.

His papers that are passed around on campus are truly hilarious - he's always blaming Queen Elizabeth for masterminding the closing of some US inner-city hospital or the WTC thing.

Wait... so is this guy ultra-liberal, ultra-conservative, or just plain extreme?

Since he's all over this campus (in flyer form), I'd have to guess ultra-liberal or just extreme.
