Have you done research? are using any treatment?


My dermatologist said if i dont start using any treatment in three yeats, i will have no hair. He suggests a pill $55 a month daily pill with side effect or to go special clinic in city weekly 12minute treatment with special machine costs $100 amonth no side affects more effective
 
i'm loosing some, my doctors told me is was post surgery stuff thats why i lost a lot, now it is slowing coming off, thinking of getting rogaine.

First of all idiot, it's losing, not loosing. And no, I did no research, my hair is falling out and it can't be reversed. I'm not going to get sucked into the trap that so many other men have by spending tons of cash on quackery. Accept it or grow a comb over, that always fools everyone.
 
I sorta wish I was balding because then I would have a good excuse for shaving my head. You can't go from full head of hair to bald as easily.
 
Where's the poll? And I've accepted my fate. I will be bald someday.

I suggest everyone loosing their hair (except women) to accept it. Unless there's a miricle pill.

Miine actually comes and goes, though I don't do anything about it. A few months ago it was noticibly thinning at the front, now it's not.

Weird.
 
i'm 22 and i'm thinning. my dad has got that heart shaped thing going. i just shave my head. i don't really care that my hear line is receding.

Maybe just a little bit, maybe not. A while back I thought I was until I found an old picture from when I was a teen and my hair looked the same, so if I am losing any it's not much, yet. I'd never wear a wig or baste my head with chemicals though. I don't mind shaving my head. It's buzzed right now.
 
My hairline is receeding. I'll be 20 on Sunday. That said, if my hair pattern follows as excepted, I'll still have a decent amount of hair for at least another 15-20 years... much more than that, if I'm lucky.

:thumbsup: and buzzing your own head saves a good 15$ or whatever from the barber.
 
how old are you?

23 and so far so good, although my hair has been thin my whole life and my hairline has been that v-shaped piece of crap shape all my life too, so i wouldn't be able to tell if i was losing it or not.

I've known a couple women with shaved heads and they surprisingly looked damn good. Sinead O'Connor also comes to mind.

Yeah, but it's far more ok for men to be bald than it is for women. So far.

o'connor didn't go to the skin though, did she? Shaved head is one thing, thinning hair is another. This girl in high school had that disorder where you pull your hair out for fun. She always had a really nasty wig on. Big patches missing from it. Huh... go figure.
