thats cool, i went 3 years ago. Nerds smell alot when the get together in big groups like that. Neat thing though. I was all impressed with myself because after a huge securty speaker came on, I went up and corrected him on a few things. Hitting on girls there is super wierd

No, there are some decent speakers but a lot immatue wanabe kiddie scripters. Most are there to get wasted and hope to get into panties of the few girls that attend. I went with very open mind, my buddy was hyping it etc. I got there bunch of t-shirt vendors and guys playing capture the flag. A lot of those guys don't believe in soap either. They think they are gawds among men cause they use netstumbler to sniff wireless IPs. Some bright guys out there but its not worth price of admission and time to get there. A lot of lemmings just following the trend.

Get a job in the industry and you will see the difference btw these guys and the guys who work for NSA etc. Or if you company will sponsor you for a RSA conference etc.
