lol i was wondering the same thing. on the fox 5 news last night they mentioned the term "cyber monday". I was like who the fvck just made that up on the spot?

then I get to work and have some cyber monday emails in my inbox ... wtf?

I first heard the term "Cyber Monday" a couple days ago and WTF? was my reaction as well.

Cyber Monday = misleading name. I was disappointed by the CNN link when I found out that it actually has to do with shopping and not. . .well. . .cyber. Here I got all excited for nothing. :(

Same here. I think the media just came up with that this year. But all the news reports are statng facts for years back. Whatever. At least they didn't call it "eMonday".

It's obviously another scheme concocted by the corporations to get people to buy stuff. However, any day I can find a bargain on things I need is a good day.

This was the first I've heard of it too.

I've been to a few of the sites I shop at, and haven't seen anything specific to "Cyber Monday" or even on-line only sales.

About time! although their timing is off. I think they should have saved this one for mid june, but whatever. Profit is profit, I suppose.
