that was the only chase worth watching i've ever seen. a cop bumped the guy in the car, causing him to do a 360, but he still kept going. then something broke off his car and this huge shower of sparks started trailing behind him. he looked like a freaking comet. hopefully someone has vidcaps. wow, that was fun 🙂

Damn those old Camrys are tough (thinking about that remote controlled car vid from awhile back, too). The thing was running on bare rims on the entire left side for a good 20-25 miles total I'd say. It was amazing how he retained control of the vehicle after that PIT maneuver... only to have it all come to end within a mile or two. My best guess would be that the front rim finally wore down to the hub...

and hilarity ensued. 😀

Best chase I've ever seen on T.V. is the one where French cops try to chase a Porsche GT2 😉

Car chases happened almost 3x a week when I was in High School. Now they are actually VERY rare, even in So Cal. Before people did crazy things like steal Land Rovers, SUV's, etc. Then they'd ram cops, go in circles, hit busses, hit center dividers, etc. Now they are old 1980's Maximas and they just run out of gas or voluntarily stop. BORING!
