WHO HERE WORKS WITH PHOTOSHOP FOR A LIVING?

Let's hear some stories from those of you who work with Photoshop (and other graphics software) for a living. What kind of education did it take? How long have you been in the field? What exactly do you do and how much do you get paid for it now, and back when you started? I'd also like to hear from those who haven't had much luck in the field. Let's hear some stories!

You really didn't have to CAPITALIZE the thread title to get more attention, did you ?

I dab a little in Photoshop, but that's probably 10% of my work when I'm on a project. The rest is purely political and business-related stuff... :|

I have no formal photoshop education but have been using it professionally at my lsat two jobs. My previous job was a graphic design job where I primarily worked on stuff for print. My current job is a job doing web development and design. I first started at the graphic design job about 3 years ago, worked there about 2 years, and have worked here for about a year now. I also do some freelance web design/development work and use photoshop for that.
