Who here waited for the alpha opengl drivers for the riva128?

I just remembered doing that from the other thread, and wanted to know who did that. I know i'm now the only person because everyone was hammering nvidia for it, although i didn't find out about the big sites until the riva128zx i guess.

Don't know about waiting for em when they first came out, but I'm using them now. Only thing is, trying to use opengl in HL w/ that card is a waste of time. I get WAY better frames from D3D api. Shame, cuz it's fuzzy as all get out. My kids love it tho! My 9 yr old son takes on 8 bots and comes out 10-1 kill ratio!! Woo-hoo!!

I remember back when I had a Riva128. I was an idiot back then, I couldn't understand why it wouldn't work right.
