i'm thinking of getting wireless for my pc.. to anybody that has it. Does it perform just as good as ethernet cable, and does it freeze or glitch during online gameplay like counterstrike

its fine for anything besides huge file transfers and gaming. wireless is not made for gaming. even though you can run it smoothly in some cases during gameplay, you will eventually get random ping increases and bad connections or extreme lag. wireless will prob never be as good as a direct connect wtih an ethernet cable. i like wireless, but i'll never use it as my primary or gaming rig since it's not nearly as fast or as reliable as direct connect. 🙂 dont worry, i know. i game on my wireles laptop. 🙂

Like everyone says it's not the best for gaming and file transfers, but definately livable as I do both quite frequently (i.e. multiple times a day). It easily streams all movie and audio files. I also stream CD images for use of installing software. It is definately much slower than having the CD on hand, but the usefulness (is hat a word?) makes it worth it.
