who here recommends the asus cuc2?

if your talking about the Asus CUSL2-C then i reccomend it..

ASUS CUC2? No. NOT a good board to get. It's the FC-PGA i820 based board with RDRAM. This board is expensive, as is the RAM. You are better off buing the CUSL2, which is a completely different board based on the i815E chipset, with a much lower system cost overall, and better performance.

Tip: Avoid i820 and Rambus by all means

the CUSL2 or -C are killer mobos.

If you are looking to find a Mobo for a P3 then maybe wait a bit more since MSI just came out with the Pro266 Master (that way you avoid the dead I820 and soon to be dead I815EP boards) and you can used either SDRAM or DDRAM. I am waiting since I avoided the I815E boards altogether and of course the I820 is not an issue.
