I'm trying to troubleshoot my PC and I have this setup:

DFI nF4 Ultra-D motherboard
AMD64 3200+ Winchester
BFG 6800GT PCI-express
(2) 512MB OCZ PC3200VX
HDA Xmystique 7.1 sound card
FusionHDTV5 Lite Capture Card
(2) 250GB Maxtor HDD
16X Lite-On DVD-ROM
Enermax Noisetaker 600W SLI Power Supply (Certified 24 PIN)

I'm not sure if its my vid card since I'm having issues with it turning on or my PSU or mobo.... but I have noticed something with my mobo and PSU, even when I take the video card out of the mobo.

When I press the power button... my PSU makes a wierd noise.... similar to a static shock sound when you discharge by touching something metal on a cold day. Not sure if thats normal or if my PSU is faulty.

Does anyone elses Enermax 600W PSU make that sound on their DFI nF4 Mobo?
Also... does anyone know how can I test the voltage line for my video card using a digital voltagemeter? Not sure what to set my meter to.

Thnx

Not sure about your other problem, but I recommend measuring DC voltage (what else could you possibly want it set to? ). You can measure +5V and +12V by testing the pins of an unused 4-pin "molex" plug. The black wire is ground, red is +5V, and yellow it +12V.

Thnx! I'm gonna test to see if its my PSU thats causing the problem.
