I bought an Enduro for on/off road use (getting into motorcycling). Been dirtbiking w/ on my friend's sister's bike twice. Fun stuff. Just wear proper gear.

Yeah I got to tear it up on one of my friends dad's dirtbikes a couple times... his dad was in a midlife crisis and bought 4 dirtbikes and put in a track with jumps and moguls in his backyard... Jumps are scary.

try those w/ limited travel dual rear shocks... ouch.
