Who here lives in the worst hot deal zone?

I swear, everytime there is a hot deal that I want B&M, it is gone within seconds in my local area. I want to move somewhere else so that I can actually get in on some deals.

The only way I can get in on B&M Hot Deals is to buy the product the day before.

Southwest Minnesota sucks for hot deals.

Nearest Best Buy and Office Max are an hour away.

Nearest Office Depot is 2.5 hours away.

Nearest Staples is 2.5 hours away.

*raises hand*

No Staples within 137 miles and no Best Buy, CC or Office Max within 37. It's pretty much "drive an hour (or two) to find out your item is long gone."

Maybe like Wisconsin or Rhode Island??

fvck YOU! I AM in Wisconsin (and about 35 miles from even Green Bay)!!!!!!!

< has (1) Best Buy (another one being built), (2) Staples, (1) Office Depot, (1) Fry's Electronics, (1) Circuit City, (1) PC Club, (1) CompUSA and computergeeks.com (for online order pick ups) all on the same stretch of say...a 15 mile freeway.

edit: oh, you only want the worst...if it makes you feel better...the closest Office Max is like a 30-40 minute drive in a whole 'nother county...i have to cross a military check point and all just to get to that county

I have walmart in my town (faribault, MN)

The closest Best buy is 33 miles. There is an office depot near that bestbuy.

Office depot is about 30 miles.

Staples is 50 miles away.

I actually once drove to western wisconsin to get in on a staples deal 😉

Closest Target is about 15 miles.

The closest OEM comp store is about 45 miles.

There is a micocenter BUT it's bout 50 miles away.

The bonus is if there are tech deals at walamrt or target I usually can get them.

When Target clearenced MS keyboard I got 5 for about 5 bucks a pop.

Sold two of them and am using the other three 😀

Target-10 mi
Best Buy-10 mi
Walmart-5mi
Office Depot-10 mi
Office Max-10 mi
Staples-35mi

No Fry's, Staples, or Microcenter near me 🙁q

I live in Alaska, all we have is an OfficeMax that sucks arse for hot deals, because they either don't stock or don't put out the hot deal items, and on the rare chance you get the items, they give you the wrong rebate book. By the time you get everything fixed, the rebate grace period is over so you have to either return the stuff or get screwed on the price.

don't forget two day shipping 😀

I live in San Jose, CA. For Black Friday, we have people lining up at whatever store ~2:00am. 🙁

I want to live in BeaverCreek, Ohio, where my aunt lives. I was there for a week last winter, BB had a deal on some hard-drive, I went there on TUESDAY (the sale started Sunday) and they still have a pretty much full stock of the item. If you go to BB after 12:00pm here the day a sale starts, you're SOL.

I think we have our winners!

I, on the other hand, are one of the losers.

Just got 2 of the 8x Liteon DVD±R/RW's at OfficeMax within the past 24 hours for $80 a pop 😀

Guess what? I have a Best Buy, Sears, Filene's, an entire mall, Border's, and a major highway within two minutes from my house. Literally. 😀

Of course, this would be cool, if I bought stuff.... 😛

Poste dtoo late... 🙂

I do! I do!

Target, Best Buy, Walmart, Office Depot, Office Max, Staples, Circuit City - some of the shops not found anywhere nearby.
No free shipping, no mail-in rebates, overpriced stuff. Most online stores don't ship to my country anyway.

Do you live in Cambridge/Boston? Those stores sound like the Cambridge Galleria.

Every city I've lived in I've noticed that it's pretty good for hot deals:

Huntsville, AL - not too many stores though
Nashville, TN - a lot of stores, ALWAYS has stuff in stock, but the stores are a good distance apart
Boston, MA - lots of stores, stores not too far away from each other (sometimes absurdly close), usually doesn't have older things in stock
