Who here listens to Country Music?

I am looking at getting a handgun, a Beretta Tomcat to be exact.

I listen to country because most of the music that is released today just plain sucks. Particularly rap, I can't stand rap. They throw to racist/sexist/profanity crap togather and try and pass it off as a song. :disgust:

OK that's a pretty dumb generalization. I hate rap, but I know enough not to say it's all about racist and sexist crap. That's like saying all metal is about devil worship.

I like country music, and I am a Latina raised in the South (maybe that's why, lol!~).

I watch CMT all the time. It's funny, my husband is the one with 'cracker', 'red neck' blood in him but he hates country. I love it, and I'm all salsa and jalepenos. Go figure!

We used to have CMT here, now we have GAC not sure what prompted the change. Still too large of a percentage of the videos are just guy + band + cowboy hat.
