Just saw them in Minneapolis. Absolutely mindblowing and incredible performance.

I really hope they come to the southeast. I've had tickets for them several times and each and every time something has happened. The latest was when Danny tore his bicep causing a show reschedule to a date I was out of town. Funny thing is that I was going to New Orleans and they were playing there the day before we were scheduled to arrive and then back in Birmingham (where I originally had tickets) the day after we arrived in New Orleans. Damn the bad luck.

I used to like them, but haven't listened to them since the Perfect Circle hiatus. How did it work when they went back to Tool, is it the same members as Perfect Circle?

My being a fan of them is slipping, wasn't impressed with the last show, and the last album was meh.

I grew up listening to Tool back in the mid nineties, if you don't like Tool then something is wrong with you. Even the preppy kids that didn't like Tool back then like Tool now.

I enjoy Tool, but since the singers side projects I feel his interests have moved on.

the 2 album per decade thing is kind of annoying. I stopped caring about them awhile ago.

Well I'd rather wait a decade to get another Aenima or Lateralus then have something pumped out too soon.

Not exactly a fan but like them very much, yes. I also kind of like 10,000 Days more than Aenima or Lateralus so that probably puts me in the minority of Tool fans (or so I've heard).

Digital music has destroyed most of my ability to listen to albums in their entirety but I always listen that album in its entirety and especially dig the part when the disc progresses through Lost Keys (Blame Hofmann), Roseta Stoned, Intension and Right In Two (most epic song ever).

Right In Two is probably my new favorite song of theirs spanning all albums, mostly due to I haven't listened to it countless times and is new, but I love that one. I do enjoy the album, but it felt a little too close to Lateralus. Where their previous works you could feel a shift and growth with each album, I felt they side stepped rather then going forward.

I saw them in Houston a couple weeks ago. Fantastic show. One of my all time favorite bands.

but they only spend a year writing, and 4 years doing bullshit, like starting a wine business.

When I was younger. They are decent last I paid attention, but my music tastes have changed since I first listened to them, 10 years ago.
