I do! I just got one of these, I have some loud ass sunon fans and a coolermaster HHC-001 (the screaming bitch herself). This worked really effectively, I went from about 65 DBS to virtually silent, this is great. I like all of the lights on it too.

I like mine too. Ain't perfect but I like it. And imho I think it looks better than the Sunbeam ones.

Make sure it has a washer between one of the screws and the PCB. Otherwise, it'll smoke out on you.

Just look on the bottom. One of the screws should have one - it'll be the one that's sets next to a circuit trace.

So they will still burn up on you if you don't put the washer there? They haven't fixed the problem?

I have one, but do not use it. They make this crackling noise when turned down to low voltages. You may not actually hear it when installed, but I have a very quiet PC so I might be able to. Anyway, I never installed it because of the problems I read on this board about the thing catching on fire. I'm currently using the Sunbeam Rheobus. I use the Vantec to test out fans, lights, etc... before installing them into PCs.

The washer was the fix. But if he has an older one without it, it will eventually go up in smoke.
