I can't remember which actress it was, but she was on Conan or Leno saying that the show has no script. Simply that Larry gives everyone involved in each scene just a general idea of what he wants. And they just wing it from there. Very cool.

Larry David was the co-creator of Seinfeld, and inspired the character of George.

Had you not seen Curb until just recently? I've been a devoted fan since the first season. Can't wait till the 4th (and can't find any info on it). It's by far my favorite show on TV. Best show since Seinfeld. I have them all taped, but can't wait for the DVD release. HBO.com's website on Curb says they'll let us know about a DVD soon.

Taste notwithstanding, I have a hard time with your first point, since IMO The Sopranos is probably the strongest drama on TV, and CYE might be the strongest comedy.

a writer? Larry David was co-creator of Seinfled, with Jerry. He made several appearances, but was best known for being the voice of George Steinbrenner.
