I like Japanese somewhat. REALLY fresh sushi is great, like Tuna sushi. I get sick of it, though. I like Benihana much more, but it's not really Japanese food so I guess that don't count.
oh my...just my favourite....for those in toronto, go to tokyo sushi on st. joseph st. in downtown toronto...is just next to 1001 bay condo building....if you go on a weekend night, almost guaranteed to see someone famous....
I love sushi. Tuna, Salmon, Yellowtail are my favorites. I love the gyoza and the udon. Wasabi is good with it all. I haven't tried other aspects of Japanese food, but I'll probably like it. I think I was Japanese in a previous life 🙂
I had a yellowtail roll at this restaurant on my honeymoon in Maui. My god! That was the best yellowtail I've ever had. It literally melted in my mouth. Only later I found out the place was rated #1 in Zagats in all Hawaii for food, not just Japanese food. The price was about the same as NYC so it didn't phase me but it might Hawaiian locals though.
sookaa: we must be next door neighbours! tokyo sushi is just around the corner from me! Usually go to the Japan Deli on Balmuto or Dr. Sushi near the Bay to get take out. I'm so hooked I taught myself to make Futomaki... next... the California Roll! Appreciate the info.
For the past 3 months, it's been nothing BUT asian food🙁 Today I ordered a 1/2LB burger from a local burger joint. My mouth was salivating on the way home. I couldn't believe it was all mine. I get in the door and my aunt asks me, "Did you eat? Is that for your brother?"
Gulp.
So I see my brother and he's eyeing the burger. He's not had a burger in the same amount of time as me.
