FYI
DSLRs are awsome because they make you look good when you are an idiot

Took these today, stupid me left the ISO on 800 and not 200 like i
usially do, BUT the D70 is so awsome it almost doesnt matter, these
were all taken with the KIT lens @ 70mm, tried the macro program
mode as well as manual, converted from raw in PS:CS, cropping and
some levels,

IDK why people complain about the KIT lens, its been great for me

Nice pics.

I was thinking this would be a thread about 'flowers' and not pictures of them 😛

Some people are really 'picky' on the lenses they use and go all 'pissy' about it. They'll put down £1k+ on a lense sort of thing!

Koing

I'm an armature Gardner myself. I had a great rose bush going but my sister-in-law mowed it down and it has yet to grow back.

But awesome pics!

I hate flowers on furniture, dishes, towels, lamps, glass, clothes, hats, etc.

Flowers make everything look amazingly dollar-storish.

I forgot I took this a week ago. My rose trellis. I built that two years ago. About 9 feet tall and 16 feet wide.

very nice, and it looks like the bush is doing good as well

I have a few orchids and bonsais at home, and an artificial pond w/ coy fishies water lilies and the occassional dragonfly buzzing around.... in NYC!

I wouldn't say I love flowers, thats more of the wifes hobby. But we do have a bunch of rose bushes and about three dozen other flower bushes. My favorite is jasmine. Smells great in the evening.
