Here we go again with stupid people trying to say Chicken McNuggets are not chicken when it's REAL white meat chicken.

Ingredients: White boneless chicken, water, food starch-modified, salt, seasoning (autolyzed yeast extract, salt, wheat starch, natural flavoring (botanical source), safflower oil, dextrose, citric acid, rosemary), sodium phosphates, seasoning (canola oil, mono- and diglycerides, extractives of rosemary

The only reason why OP and other food freaks post this is to have them turn to "alternative medicine", aka chiropractic "medicine".

It's the same old snake oil, your food is bad, here! Buy my snake oil and you shall be saved from the evil food!

McDonald's are the best (especially with their mustard; I wish I knew a brand that tasted like it) but way too expensive for what you get. I generally eat those dinosaur-shaped ones.

Here's the whole ingredients list for you:

White boneless chicken, water, food starch-modified, salt, seasoning (autolyzed yeast extract, salt, wheat starch, natural flavoring (botanical source), safflower oil, dextrose, citric acid, rosemary), sodium phosphates, seasoning (canola oil, mono- and diglycerides, extractives of rosemary). Battered and breaded with: water, enriched flour (bleached wheat flour, niacin, reduced iron, thiamin mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid), yellow corn flour, food starch-modified, salt, leavening (baking soda, sodium acid pyrophosphate, sodium aluminum phosphate, monocalcium phosphate, calcium lactate), spices, wheat starch, whey, corn starch. Prepared in vegetable oil (Canola oil, corn oil, soybean oil, hydrogenated soybean oil with TBHQ and citric acid added to preserve freshness). Dimethylpolysiloxane added as an antifoaming agent. (May be different in regions other than the United States)

Typical people trying to spread misinformation. Like people saying that organic tastes better and is healthier for you.

lol, you're kidding me, right?

first off, you can't seriously call chicken nuggets real, healthy food. secondly, most chicken nuggets are made with the same process jamie oliver shows in the video. mcdonald's changed its recipe a few years ago to be more consumer friendly.

what in the world makes you think this is misinformation? because it goes against what's convenient for you? just because it's something you can eat doesn't make it a healthy food item with nutrients your body needs.

furthermore, organic foods are better for you than non-organic simply by the fact that they don't use organophosphates, which have been associated with add/adhd.

finally, why eat it? why not eat something you know is healthy and full of nutrients your body needs? why increase chemical stress within your body and increase the risk of disease?

edit: by the way, the wikipedia link you posted didn't dispute what i just said... you didn't include a couple of the ingredients.

First of all, when did anyone say McNuggets were healthy? It's fried food. Second, the ONLY way you can know if something is Organic is if you grow it yourself. Buying something labeled Organic from the store does NOT mean it's Organic.

actually, it kinda does. there are extremely strict guidelines that must be met before something can be labeled organic.

That video you linked you is hilarious. You think Organic foods you buy at the store don't have pesticides??? LOL

The Grower has to be certified organic. The Grower. That is all.

no, they do have pesticides. however, the pesticides they use aren't organophosphates and aren't non-organic or synthetically manufactured... they're derived naturally.

edit: that doesn't mean the organic pesticides are harmless... it just part of the guidelines used. however, the fact remains that they use little to no organophosphates in organic pesticides.

edit: by the way, you're right... the only way to be 100% sure something is organic in the truest sense is if you grew it yourself and knew exactly what you were doing.

Oh and because something is natural it automatically makes it safe and healthier for you? Glad to know there's nothing naturally dangerous to humans out there.

Eh, I don't eat at McDonald's or any other fast food joint. Anytime I make my own mix of chicken nuggets are always from fresh ground chicken breast with a corn meal coating. Beats the heck out of the fast food places, IMO.

That ends after they're grown and sold. Once they get to a supplier or even the retailer itself, that all goes out the window.

I've worked at a place that sold organic foods. I can guarantee that some, if not most, was not even organic (ie. came out of a regular box, went on an organic shelf). It's amazing how much more people will pay just because a sign says it's healthy.

We eat bad food and we know it. We're ready to deal with the consequences.

Personally, I eat a shit ton of fast food. Yeah, that disgusting, fried, chemical filled shit. Simply because it's quick, easy, and available.

I'm also pretty fit and healthy (except my smoking habit). My doctors haven't complained.

Moderation. Fucking learn it and you won't have to blame your fat disgusting body on it.

alone, buddy, just because your doctors haven't complained doesn't mean a damn thing. just because you don't have symptoms of something doesn't mean you're at a high level of health.

as long as you understand that, do what you wish. your doctors probably haven't said anything because they have a bunch of other patients waiting to see them and don't want to waste time trying to convince you to stop doing something you won't stop doing... kinda like smokers who smoke. they know it's wrong. doctors don't say anything to them about it... does it mean they're healthy? no. for some reason, some patients seem to rationalize that it does.

Actually, I'm in the military and have constant access to very, high quality doctors who DO spend time on me making sure I'm in good standing health.

And my doctors do complain about my smoking, but otherwise they have no qualms, and I don't go in just once a year like most people (at best).

I am healthy.

I also like how you disregarded the actual point I was making by attacking my health.

But I guess you like being a presumptuous ass.
