Who here is scared of horses?

No, and I've never been around horses much, other than visiting my Aunt's and the fact that you can't go a day without at least seeing ONE horse here in Michigan.
 
Nope and I've been around horses... Though I am surprised at how scared people are of a whole bunch of different animals.

I work in a lab with mice and this PhD student I know has probably handled over 1,000 mice but when one mouse happened to land on the floor and started running around. He was freaking out.
 
Sort of. "Nervous" would be more accurate. I rather treat horses like unexploded bombs. I figure they probably aren't going to do anything, but I'm not going to touch the buggering things. 😛

Honestly though, aside from being stepped on/kicked or bitten they don't bother me. So I won't feed them out of my hand and I won't sneak up on them from behind (preferably, I won't be behind the horse in general). Otherwise, they're cool animals.

I think it would depend on the kind of horse and the environment. If there's some crazy "bucking bronco" type of horse locked up inside some barn with me, then yeah, I think I'd be a little scared of it.

If it's just some normal horse, then :thumbsup:

It's a shirt that was designed as part of a mission trip to Mexico. Myself and a crew of about 40 people (about 30 teens, 10 adults) went down there, built a drug rehab center in the slum areas of Tijuana, and did a week of morning stories/crafts/games with the kids in the area.

The shirt says, "You are the salt of the earth.. You are the light of the world. Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your father in heaven. Matthew 5:13,14,16" and has a listing of the names of the people who went.
