There is just something about fall weather that I love. The cooler days, the leaves changeing, the crisp nights under a quilt or blanket. I think fall is my favorite time of year. When do the leaves change in your area?

ohh yeah i'm ready! UNO looks gorgeous during the fall 🙂

leaves will start changing color here in about a month i think.

sometime in september, could be later depending on the year. when I lived in ND, there was no fall or spring, just winter and summer
 
Worst time of the year IMHO - right there with winter. Shorter days, less light, more darkness, and it's get's cooler. Good thing I live in FL - won't even see frost until late November/early december. If I lived any father north, I couldn't take it.

Yeah I think summer is my least favorite time of the year. I miss the cool lazy days and the cooler nights. I can sleep my best in about 45-55 degree weather. Snuggle up under a blanket or quilt. Man I miss that. Thank goodness I don't have to long to wait. 🙂
 
Yeah I think that school starts around here in early September. I have a nephew who is wanting to go back to schol so he can be with his friends.
 
Yeah since I have been paying for the heating bill I kind of dislike winter too. During fall this year I will probably have to cut fire wood. Or maybe I can save up enough that I can buy it. Don't know yet. I used to love christmas, but I think fall is a better time of year a little longer in the sunlight and warmer days without it being hot.
 
Fall is nice but due to work I have yet to really enjoy summer. I look forward to doing some real summer fun on my vacation

Yeah SAD sucks. I do sometimes get to feeling down in the winter, but not usually to much during fall. There is just something about fall that energizes me. It is like I feel 25 again and am full of energy. Summer usually saps all my strength from me. Plusit is easier to get a little warmer than it is to get cooler. I am looking forward to October. Halloween and all.
 
When it's cold you can put on a jacket. When it's hot you can't put on a cool suit. Unless you're mr. freeze.
 
I just remembered that when I was a lot younger I used to help my friend with harvesting his crop. Ride on the tractor and pick peanuts. Bail hay and store it for the winter. We used to have a lot of fun back then. Now I am older and miss those days of enjoyment. My friend was a real cool guy and was very funny. Plus there was the occasional beer and stuff. Hmm speaking of which i might try outy Octoberfest this year.

Yep I'm ready for sure. We've had so many days with mid 90 degree weather this summer along with drought conditions, but high humidity. It just sucks to be outside.

Plus when it gets darker earlier and the little one is in school, it'll be much easier for him to fall asleep earlier.

Me too. I loved living in California for that reason...so much winter sun. Now I'm back in Oregon where it's grey outside most of the year.
 
Yeah I live in Virginia and it has been a hot dry summer this year. I think it is supposed to be 93 tomorrow. 🙁 I dislike hot weather. I have actually been thinking about moving if I got the chance. Somewhere cooler like the New England states or Oregan or somewhere. I think canada might be nice. I'll probably change my mind once fall hits. 🙂
