Who here is jobless, and not by choice?

Obviously if you're in high school/college, or more specificaly, if you're under, say, 21 years old, this does not necessarily apply to you. I know the age requirement basically leaves less than ten percent of the active posters on these forums to reply, but I want to know anyway. I'm talking about people(like DevilsAdvocate) who lost their jobs due to the economy. Just wondering how hard joblessness hit ATOT.

I'm employed, by the way.

I lost my job in May and didn't find another one until October. I am currently working.

Me. I've been looking since Oct. Had two job interviews this week. One went well, one was over my head. If I don't get the one I did well in, my family is screwed, so wish me luck!

In college, but desperately need a job. I probably would be going to interviews today, but my truck would not start...grr

I have a job, but not what I am used to making......same as my wife, she was a programmer (20+ years exp) now doing retail.

She may stay there though, she likes it and they already want to make her a manager.

I may go back into banking....suit and tie sucks but the pay for my skills is much better and the jobs are more stable.

I consider my self "underemployed," but I do have a job. That will hopefully change soon (the underemployed part, not having a job)
