That's why everyone's goal in life is to find something they really enjoy, that they wouldn't mind doing as a career. I can't really say because I am still in school (college.)

I say if you hate your job then leave...there's plenty of unemployed out there that would love to take your place.

Once you move out of your parents house or from the dorm they are funding you will see it's just not that easy.

LOL do you have 3 masters degrees or something?

The issues is once you leave your job... you are financially insecure... unless you are superman at money management.

i am seriously starting to question whether my chosen profession is good for me. i mean the money is great, probably the best for someone right out of college, but is it really worth the long hours?

you know, i wonder if i would still hate my job if i didn't have the boss i did or if i had some actual help?

i bet it wouldn't be too bad. most of the people are fun to be around, the owners are very nice, and the benefits of working there isn't too bad. if my boss were to die or leave, i would be so screwed.

I hate my job, but I work in a grocery store part time. At least is only for another 3 weeks, then I have 2 weeks off and then I start my freshman year of college.

I enjoy my work most of the time. The only thing that's tough about it is that it's 100% performance based. If I don't get it done, I don't get paid.

That's why it's called work... You go to work, you don't go to fun.

- partially stolen and reworded from a wise friend of mine ;)

Yup. It's called work for a reason.

That said, there are some jobs that suck less than others. I work for a great company with great people, so I can't really complain.

Oh I fracken hate my job.
I'm so sick and tired of people b!tching that their web site doesn't work(because they are too STUPID to know the basics of web design) or that our emails servers go down. I'm also sick and tired of putting up with abuse from people because our I/T and Programming department is lazy and incompendent. If your going to upgrade a server make a GD backup before doing so. That why when the upgrade fails we can do a roll back and not lose data. No they just upgrade the server and hope for the best destorying hundereds of databases. :Q

I am also getting sick of working nights and weekends and being on a rotating shift. One can't have a life if your working a day shift then the following month your exiled to nights. Makes taking classes impossible.
