who here has read the da vinci code by dan brown?

i know its over 30 LOL, im listening to it in mp3 audiobook format and im on chapter 100 currently.. im kinda wondering how many more are left.. lol

aren't there like chapters every two pages.. that's one of the reasons I refuse to read it - I think there are over 100.

yea every 2 pages is a chapter and it reads throughout most of the book by going back and forth between characters between all the chapters.

Whats bad about that? I like that sort of book the most, because it's easy to stop readying at anytime. I hate books with massivly huge chapters where it's impossible to quiickly finish the chapter you are on if you need to do something else.

I think it screams "pop-book". Guess I read a lot of books and enjoy spending more time reading than 4 minutes to finish up a chapter. I tend to get irritated if a book has more than 20 chapters - it seems like the author is trying to make their book feel more epic than it probably is. I really don't know - it's just a feeling

to me, shorter chapters seem to go by quicker and feel easier to read no matter how long it is.. and it's defiantely easier to stop whenever as opposed to a huge chapter..

all done, my verdict... WAY DRAWN OUT and a waste, don't read it, im glad i didn't but instead decided to listen.

I don't think your review counts if you can't even be bothered actually reading it.

I thought it was very entertaining, personally, and would highly recommend it.

I own the book, I thought it was one of the most overhyped books I've ever read. It was okay, that's all. My opinion obviously. I can look up the amount of chapters if you'd like.

Isn't this the book that was stolen from someone else?

the imaginary world that the book takes place in was stolen from someone else, and passed off as the real world
