Who here has photography as a hobby or a passion?

I'm just starting with it as a hobby with my new Canon S2 IS, but here are a few pics I took hiking...

You don't need to take a photography class to be able to take pictures.

I've never taken a class and i've had a lot of compliments from my pictures (where I wasn't goofing off).

All it takes is a good eye for capturing something interesting and knowledge as to how to work the camera.

 
My wife minoring in photography from Texas State University at San Marcos, and I have done it as a hobby for a while... Still working on redoing my site though.

im sure i will,cause i shoot 35 and 4x5 about the same amount as i shoot Digital currently

I gave up on film. It's so much easier to use digital and not having to wait for the film to be developed plus having to do all the scanning. Maybe I'm even lazier than you.

i dev all my own film, and make my own prints, im talking B&W, if its color im shooting it digitally, i can print color, but its just easier to do it digitally
