just wondering incase my 3rd nf2 board is worthy of rma as well
what kinda fsb speeds are the kt600's getting ?

also what is the highest pci divider they use in the kt600 boards ??

Not to thread crap but, i don't think too many will have a KT 600 when it seems the best choice is the nForce chipset...

You are still looking to hit 200mhz FSB correct?

What boards ahve you tried so far?

pls tell me your 3rd rig doesnt have pc100 b/c your main rig in sig has pc133? If so your not getting 200fsb... so you need aleast pc3200 ram to get 200fsb and for above 210fsb try pc3500.

i've tryed a dfi nf2 lanparty and an asus a7n8x 2.0 delux
now i am gonna give the abit nf7-s 2.0 a try

if that don't work i might switch to kt600 or just go back to my kt133 in my sig and sell my 400 bucks of ddr mem to someone

Hmm, what are you trying to hit?

Go read AT's reviews, none of the KT600 boards have gone much further than 212mhz. Really seems odd that you haven't acheived that with the boards you've tried. What kind of modding have you done in your attempts? Maybe something else(cpu, ps, other) is what's holding you back.

Then forget about KT600 since it is barely capable of going over 200. The best thing about KT600 is that it is cheap. And it brings up single channel performance to the level of dual channel NF2. So much about NF2 dual channel.
Other than that you don't really have many options left.

you didn't get 220 on either of those boards? Did you try upping voltages? What kind of ram was this?

yeah i maxed all voltages out and tryed most every mem latency config
i even volt modded the a7n8x and upped the vdd to 1.92
i even tryed lowering the mem speed to 50%

i could get the mem to 210 no problem on that board but the fsb wouldn't even hold 200 fully stable
couldn't complete 3dmark

i got mushkin hi perf black level II pc3500

i even added extra cooling to the nb and sb

ohh well hopefully the abit board will be good

The Epox 8rda+ and the Abit nf7s 2.0 are the two best boards for hitting a high FSB. Asus boards really aren't meant for overclocking, neither are DFI boards.
