I tried with a couple, it turns to sh1t very quickly for me, all the reasons we broke up surfaced in the first few weeks/months.

Anyone ever have a successful long term reconciliation with an ex?
 
This is rule #1 in Cooler's guide to dating hooking up with ex will most likly lead to problems in long run but in short terms it may lead to fun.
 
Inspite of the fact she has set several*hint*droppers by that had been mutual friends, NO.

She just wants to draw me back into the game of,"I'm emotionally unstable, now feel sorry
for me."

Only because it paralleled a relationship I had, do I remember what you went through three(?) years ago.
If you let her back in your sicker than she is and deserve all you get.
Do not return to the scene of the crime because she is ready.😉

Oh hell no, I have no intention of hooking up with an ex, I just noticed all the "My ex is calling & wants to have sex/talk", threads.

 
Have I ever hooked up with an ex? Hell no! I don't talk to any of my ex-girlfriends, and I am okay with that.
 
She cheated on me, we broke up for a few months, we got back together for 2 years. It's sort of working out?

At least now I won't mind so much if I find out that she's cheating on me. I'm thankful for that sort of ability, even if it does make her a lying cheating bitch.
 
No, it wouldn't work out on that level.

I thought you just meant hook up as in be friends with benefits.

Iv hook up with the same girl THREE time, and every time, our relationship was shorter...first it was 3 month...then about 3 weeks....then after about a week.
