Does it work?

Amex's site only lists Win95/98/NT as choices. When it asks me what OS i use, what should I pick?

TIA. :p

XP is based on NT. Choose that for all your 2000 and XP needs and you should be safe. This isn't ALWAYS the case though.

Well this is why I ask....

Our Serial and USB Stand-Alone Readers offer secure access to Smart Chip Private Payments, enhanced security for online transactions, and the ability to power up your Blue with extra offers and functionality.

Choose the Serial Reader if...
Your PC or laptop was built before 1997, OR
Your PC or laptop was built after 1997 but runs Windows® 95 or NT
FREE - The Serial Reader has a $25 value, but it will be provided to you FREE of charge.

Choose a USB Reader if...

Your PC or laptop was built after 1997, has a working USB port, and runs Windows 98.

I am thinking I should pick Win98..... but I wanted to make sure.

Well I still say pick NT, but if that doesn't work, why not go for 98. Trial & error is the best way! ;)
