Who here has a Canon 5D, or is waiting to get one, or is getting one?

right, i know you have to buy two different things for each rebate.

but what if i buy a 5D, a speedlight, and then another 5D, a 50/1.4, and then another 5D, and something else.

Limit one offer per eligible product purchased

that's not per eligible SKU... but the interpretation of that line is worth $600. that's a lot to risk. and 3 would make it $1200.

not to mention i'd then have to sell 2 5Ds. are canon warranties transferable?

it's a lot of money to risk to get a free 5D

I see where you're going. I think to be absolutely safe you should use a different name and address for each rebate submission. $600+ x 3 is a lot of money to not get.

With any rebates, you just have to make copies and follow up with them. 1st 5d package arrived yesterday. Going to order a 2nd this week. I used lenses to get the double rebates, b/c I actually want to keep the lenses, just not the 5d bodies.

I have a 5D. It is outstanding. Just having a FF camera simultaneously brought me a slew of new lenses (when I changed from my 20D and 300D to the 5D).

5D + 24-105mm lens is near perfection.

I'm not sure if they ever expire. I mean, they do, but new ones turn up all the time on eBay.

I think that is true to a certain extent, but you have to keep in mind you have 3 things that you need not to be expired to make this work. The auto, the stackable, and then the rebates.
