Who here as actually beat a ticket?

I see a bunch of threads here about how to beat a ticket, and I was wondering who here has actually beat one?

I have, but it was kinda a joke. Its like this. I was driving, and I was very upset about some previous events. I was also not paying alot of attention. Well, needless to say, I ran a red light. It was a right hand turn, and it was red. Lucky for me, any oncomming traffic also had a red light, so I didnt hit anyone. Anyways, this light was right before and on ramp, and a cop was turning left onto the on ramp. She pulled me over and gave me a ticket for going 20mph in a 1mph zone. The violation was for unsafe speeds. 22350 vc speed.

There are many things wrong with that ticket. First off, there is no such zone as a 1mph zone. Second off, I ran a red light, I wasnt speeding. So, when I explained what happened to the judge, I made sure to mention the red light violation, and bingo, I got out of the ticket.

i did, sort of.......i disputed the ticket and they sent me something in the mail that said I didn't have to go to court and it had been dismissed. Sweet!

I've gotten a ticket for bieng in an accident, and then the other person didn't show up. No witness, no ticket.

I have never gotten out of a speeding ticket or anything, the cop always shows up to court. 🙁

<--- has been pulled over and cited about 5-6 times and has only paid a fine ONCE (and that was lowered to 'faulty equipment')

But, the most over the limit I've ever been pulled over for is 16mph (deserted interstate at 1am in a rental car...got off w/a warning.) I usually just get a warning but the coupla times I had to go to traffic court, it was dismissed by the judge w/o any effort on my part.


BTW, WTH is a 1mph zone!??! 😕

Yeah, the 1mph zone was wierd. According to the judge they dont exist. The beauty was was that I didnt have to supena the offier or anything. She just dismissed it right there, saying that even if I did contest it, I would win. This was for juvenile court BTW.
