Who hasn't yet played Half-Life 2?

I know that this is way way late for the Steam gifting fiasco of the Orange Box, but I finally realized that I have an extra copy of Half-Life 2 (haven't used Steam in a while).

First PM with Steam ID gets the gift!

Edit: OUT OF STOCK! Try the others down the thread.

I have given-away my gift.

If any others in this thread want to keep it going and give away a few more copies, please do.

Never played HL1, never played any iteration of Doom or Quake, and have HL2 but only played through half of it (though I think i stopped because of HL2-specific motion sickness...).
Do I win the thread?

blasphemy... next you will be spouting off about never playing Doom.

for some reason it's like the one classic PC game that I haven't played. Not that I have some weird objection or hatred with it, just never got around to actually playing it.

I've tried many times to play through Half Life 1, never could do it. HL2 on the other hand, I play all the time.

friend installed a cracked version for me several years ago, and i beat it. however, i did get the orange box for $10, and my god, its a damn good purchase.

For me HL2 is great the first time through.

I've tried many times to play it again on a harder setting but I always get bored and quit.

I've never finished HL1 either. I have started a number of times and end up losing my saved game for some reason or another. Maybe if Valve applies Steam Cloud to HL1 I'll start another game, and eventually finish it.

Then again, at this point I'm almost tempted just to wait for Black Mesa Source. It's been long enough since I've played HL1 that it would feel almost like a new game.

I remember playing HL2 immediately after playing Doom 3 back when they were both released and I found HL2's movement a little too loose for my liking and taking damage was "annoying" compared to Doom 3. However, I replayed it again when I bought the Orange Box a few years ago and liked it more.

I'm anxiously waiting for this too!

I haven't completed HL1 or HL2.

My fave FPS MP games have been :

Doom
Quake 1, 2, and 3
RTCW and RTCW:ET
BF1942
BF2

That's about it I think.

i'm slowly working my way thru it again. i beat it once and got about half way the 2nd time. i have eps 1 and 2 but haven't even played them once yet.

Never beat HL1 or HL2. HL1 gave some pretty serious motion sickness back in the day, so I gave up after a while.

HL2 also gives me motion sickness, but not as bad as HL1 (this is even after setting fov to 90). I gave HL2 a pretty fair shot and I got pretty far, but the game just doesn't hold me. I didn't find the game all that particularly interesting, and I found that I was playing the game because other people thought it was good. Eventually I lost interest completely and stopped playing.

I'm gonna give it a go again soon. I recently installed Fakefactory's Cinematic Mod, and I'd love to check out the new graphics. And perhaps I'll install this mod: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jwxN8sCIOOE
