I had it years ago and my equipment tore up and I canceled. Recently I have been seeing specials for 77/year or 5 months for 25 so I bought a couple of the XM Snaps off amazon, 22 shipped for both! These are basic units but come with everything you need. I called the number from this thread and said I was interested in that deal and got it no problem. The lady I talked to also waived the activation fee

Good deal! I love SiriusXM. I wish I could just buy channels individually though. I listen to Alt Nation 99.9% of the time (unless there is a NFL or baseball game on that I can't get local).

If you are a current subscriber call that number and say you are cancelling if you cant get the same deal and they will give it to you once they transfer you to retentions

It's in my car and I never use it. The trial is probably ending soon.

Every time I try to find a game on it, none of the sports channels actually have anything on. Useless. I don't know what sports they cover other than NFL, but it seems like nothing.

I have it and got in on the deal. I called in to cancel my account due to the increasing fees and BS music license fee they added ($180 total). The lady I talked to offered the $77 to continue my account and I took it.

I hate satellite radio. It sounds so bad that I would not ever want to listen to it.

The first line of defense wont do anything, be firm and say you need to cancel for whatever reason, cutting back ect and then the retentions people will give you the cheap price

Must be your setup, sounds fine to me.

No, I've heard it in at least two cars (both were nice rentals) and it sounded terrible in both. I am not one of those "you need a $15,000 speaker set" audiophiles but XM's SQ is low enough for me to not be able to enjoy it.

I ditched satellite radio for that reason. The sound quality is CRAP. Couldn't get over it.

And before anyone asks, yes i had my unit hard-wired into my car, no FM modulators or anything of that sort. And yes, I have a high-quality sound system.

Sub ran out a while ago, they got me back with 5 months for $20. That expired and they auto renewed me for $80 for 6 months (while emailing me to renew at x rate, and also 5 months for $25). Called to complain, talked to one of their shitty reps with the same unknown accent and they offered to extend that plan for a year for that $80. I caved in and took it

It does sound like crap hardwired to the car. Try using your phone with the SiriusXM app. Although its no longer satellite and its now internet radio lol.

I did the free trial and I liked their electronic stations (all two of them) but its not enough for me to fork over $12 a month.
