Who Has Verizon DSL with a WRT54G?

What modem are you guys using?
Verizon has that starter package where it comes with a Wireless router/modem combo.
Is it ok to use this with my WRT54G?
All information is appreciated.

I setup DSL for a lot of places around here...it's SBC DSL here though. Is Verizon using those 2Wire router/modem combos too? If so, they will work with the WRT54G but you have to do some configuration to it and to the WRT54G...nothing much or complicated though. If it is another brand...I dunno - I would have to look at it myself.

If you got the Wireless Router combo with the DSL, why use the Linksys, just use the one you have built into the modem. IF you wanted to use the Linksys you should have opted for JUST the modem. I have a westell 6100 hooked up to my WRTG54 and it works alright, not EXACTLY how I would want it too, but it works.
