Please comment on how your life changed when you recieved or as a result of recieving your Masters degree. Did your current job pay you more? Did it make it much easier to find a job etc?

I really need to do an internship before I graduate, hopefully someplace that can promise me a job when I am done. I really don't have much direction as far as utilizing it, and I would really like to see it go to work for me. Any advice?
 
The simple answer is:

if you are in the sciences: Yes

If you are elsewhere: Maybe

Either way: experience > all if you are looking for more bucks, but if you are looking to broaden your mind and become a innovator in your field, advanced degress allow you to explore your creativity.
