How do you like it?
Of course I would love something bigger and better, but for $200, it must be better than nothing. And, I am guessing it is pretty good. I know someone here has one. What you you think?

I don't have the BIC F12.

I do, however, have the Energy S10.3. I got mine for $200, it's currently on sale for $230. This is the same sub as the Mirage S10. For the money it has been great in my bedroom(16.5x11x19.5ft music setup, very quick and not boomy. I'd say if you have a small to medium size room it would work well for music or HT.

A lot of people like the F12, if you are hard capped at $200 you won't find a better sub for HT.

Alright, I ordered it.
$188.48 shipped is almost disposable.
Since I am watching movies now without ANY sub, and I have the low end cut off of them (because I have friends who come over and watch It is bound to be a HUGE improvement.

I have one. It's pretty good for the price but I was disappointed that it wasn't as big of an upgrade over my old sub as I had wished. It's good for a home theater sub with lots of boomy bass but it's not as warm and musical as my Athena.

I paid like $250 for mine though. For $180 shipped you can't go wrong.

I have something similar, which is the Acoustech H100. I like it; at listening levels I don't hear any appreciable distortion, and in-room response goes to 25 Hz or so (measured, after auto-EQ). Sort of wish I had two more, actually, so I could smooth out the null I have at 60 Hz due to my room.

i ran one for a while, for use in HT in a small to med sized room its not bad, its boomy but does go pretty low for what it costs. not tight enough IMO for music many people get 2 for larger rooms, its a great bang/buck offering for those just starting out who want to add bass to a HT

I have an F12, actually considering a second. Sound is good but doesn't fill my room (granted, it's a pretty big room - living/dining room & kitchen all together) quite as much as I would like.

Wooo hoo!
Finally got the Sub and plugged it into the Denon AVR-591.
It has Audyssey, so that it the way to calabrate all the speakers and the sub.
Next, I read the Audyssey set up information here:
http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=795421
Ran the calebration, and WOW!
If you dont have some sort of auto calibration, get it.
Unbelievable.

You spelled calibrate/calibration three different ways in one post lol :D

Glad you're enjoying your new sub though :)
