If UT2007 will utilise a PPU, im in!

Just got to get my damn PCI-e motherboard first

It will, for sure.

Epic has been working with the physX developer kit since early engine development.

Its the first "big" PPU title.

Not to mention inevitable 20 other games that will use the same engine.
Only 20 others? It's probably going to be hundreds of games using the UT2007 engine. I hope my X800GTO can handle it at tolerable settings (for me), I'd hate to have to drop $300 on a video card for it. Oh well, it's an excuse to upgrade 😛.

My Neo4 has one.

I never would have thought I'd effectively fill all my PCIe slots.

X800XL @ 16x, and PCIe Theater 550 Pro @ 1x, and this at 4x.

That's all I got!

Its even working fine on pci, doesnt look like it needs the extra bandwidth at all.

I'm betting that the extra bandwidth would help reduce the significant drop in framerates when new objects are created. Faster communication between PPU and CPU/GPU can only help.

I heard there was not going to be a price drop....
I read they will just introduce newer models at higher prices..hmmm

You don't need all that bandwidth for a physics PPU, you really don't. They're able to get away with it because it's mostly calculations and not textures, calcuations and math are much less demanding in the amount of MB/s it needs to transfer data.
