Who has more talent: Britney Spears or Kevin Federline?

I just came to a startling conclusion--Kevin Federline may actually have more talent than his useless and no-longer-hot wife. She obviously can't sing, and dancing/choreography is a stalemate at best since he was, after all, a professional dancer first and foremost before trying to jumpstart his own rap career.

Record sales does not in and of itself constitute "talent", only "success", and thus should not be used as criteria here (especially since Federline hasn't actually released an album yet). Talent only. William Hung has outsold many of the most talented artists that you've never heard of.

I'm very interested in hearing exactly what talent ATOT feels she possesses over him, besides any attraction you might feel towards her and not him (assuming you are male).

Kevin Federline is Britney Spears' husband. He was a backup dancer for her and is now trying to launch a career as a rap artist, and is subject to lots of ridicule in the media. I've read a couple indepth articles and at least personally he's nothing close to the absolute douche he is usually portrayed to be.

you can't really say talent, since the word talent is much more contraversial in matters of how well they bring out their own versus personal success in the business?

I'd say Spears. She's a lot richer. They even made official trance remixes of her songs which most of them sound so awful that they need to be edited to block out all the crappy melodies within the remix songs.
Spears has touched on more crowds than Ferderline will ever dream of.

pop, rock, r&b, dance, trance, instrumental, slow songs, etc. you can say she got smart and decided to go all out with both her looks and everything she could offer from within.

Well it's absolutely obvious that she's richer and has had more success in the business. That argument wouldn't even warrant a discussion.

I'm just trying to separate the financial side of it from the true ability side of it, since lots of asshats fall headlong into fame. And once you're famous, you have to really fvck it up (a few albums in a row) NOT to sell records.

In the same way that there are several independent rappers I could name that are much more talented than anyone in the top 40, their success does not automatically mean that they are somehow more talented than the unknowns. Half the time (particularly in Hiphop) artists simply get put on because they are affiliated with one who is already famous. In a way, that's part of the reason why Federline gets so much crap, because everybody assumes he's riding her coattails somehow. Clearly the link is inescapable but I think you see what I'm getting at.

Note: I'm not defending Federline's music... I've only heard one song that got leaked and it did nothing for me. But neither does his wife's music.

...bumping this up for the rush hour crowd. Spears currently has a commanding lead, but I'm interested in determining what talent besides looks everyone feels she possesses.
