Who has MIT, Stanford, Cornell as backup schools for engineering?

ill also add that it would be foolish for any IIT grad (or affiliate) to claim that MIT/Stanford/Harvard/Etc. is any lower in prestige/quality/selectivity.

the claim that only 2% of the kids get into IIT versus 10% in harvard means sh1t. 3500 kids are in the class at IIT and ~180,000 kids apply there each year!! harvard's applicant pool is nowhere near those levels. maybe if india opened another damn school to compete (on the IIT level) it would be better....
