Who has ever been to a Landmark Education?

My co-workers are attending it and they won't tell me much about it other than my life will change and get better.

Sounds like a scandal or something to me.... anyone ever been to one of these?

Ooh, there was a documentary on TV about Landmark education last night. I missed it myself, but various friends of mine who saw it tells me it seemed rather sick, like some sort of sect, idiotic, etc. Apparently you're "broken down" and the "built up" again to become a better person, or something like that. I'd avoid it, just like I avoid the church of Scientology. 😉

Cult Cult Cult...

Run, don't walk, RUN away.

I once worked with someone who got sucked in. I didn't really know her very well, but mutual friends have told me that she's completely changed, and has devoted her life to this thing, to the exclusion of her now ex-fiance. She's paid a lot of money and is constantly trying to recruit others.

Google search for "landmark education cult"

They used to be known as "est" Link

I don't get it. This guy is complaining, but Landmark did give him what he paid for correct?

He said his self-esteem was built.

Check out some of the other links from Google. If you do decide to go, let us know how it went.

it's a positive thinking "get things done" accomplish "life goals" organization. I've heard of companies sending their employees there, so it can't be that bad. Still, anything pumping positive thinking down my throat irks me.
