I've had three moving violations when I was in high school and had my license suspended for thirty days all riding motorcycles. My last ticket for a moving violation was almost 28 years ago. I have been pulled over almost eight times since but was never given a ticket. How about you?

Anyone beat that??

I'm 29, never gotten a ticket...drove in about 40 states, cross country, commute 1 hr to work each way in city traffic, freeways and backroads. Unless something really strange happens I doubt if I'd ever get a ticket, as I basically obey street laws.

Of course, it doesn't hurt that I also know and have worked with most of the law enforcement people in my area.

My mom was 52 before she got her first ticket. He got it for going 8 over the speed limit when she was coming home from work at 2am.

Been almost a year since my one & only ticket on my record... 72 in a 55.

I had a careless driving ticket a year before that, but it never made it to my record. Traffic school & six months of uneventful driving took care of that. Six months prior to that I was pulled over for speeding but not cited. Passed a prisoner transport van at 80 mph. Oops.

:D

I got a ticket about two months before my 17th birthday. But it was in Montana and the cop only wrote me down as 10 over, so it never went on record, just had to pay a $20 fine.

In October I got another ticket, 67 in a 50, cop gave me a ticket for 60/50 and aa $150 or $175 fine :(

So I have two points on my record...

Kelvrick where do you live in Southern California?

I've never gotten a ticket or been pulled over. I've had my license since the day I turned 16 and I'm now 20. I speed everytime I drive. Driving on the I-5 from southern California to davis going 85-90 is a common thing for me. I gotta admit I probably won't stop speeding until I get my first ticket. I keep thinking that "as long as I look in my rear view mirror and look around for cops" that I won't get caught. But of course now that I've said this I'll probably get nailed on my way to wendy's tonight.

I-5 through the valley hardly counts as as place that you're likely to get caught.

Anyway, after you get your first ticket, you'll slow down for a few weeks, then you'll start driving fast again.

(I've had a license for four years, been pulled over for speeding, um, 7 times I think, and I got 4 tickets, I beleive.)
