Yeap, yes sir. University California of Santa Barbara is your school folks. Anybody been here? I attend this college right now and let me tell ya, it is a pretty good school despite what people say about it.


This school has given me a wonderful opportunity to observe people and social interaction, to learn about what it means having responsibility at my job, and meet wonderful contacts.

But there is also the night life aspect as well. When the sun goes down, the wild life comes out. People party here like crazy. You want alcohol? Man, UCSB has a plethora of alcohol available to anybody practically. This school is crazy when it comes to partying.

So, anybody been here?

EpsiIon, my xbf who posts every once in a great while on these boards, goes to school there. I visited a few times. Beautiful campus. Little me up here at UCDavis is jealous of your campus and weather. But neither of us are the partying type, so I found that part of the school not to my liking. Isla Vista smells like years of old cigarette smoke and booze. Blegh.

We used to drive down from calpoly for fresh meat a lot.

Have a high school friend who went there, she really likes it. I go UCI myself.

I spent a couple years in school there. It's ok.

Party hard .. before midnight, then the cops and tell ya to shut down.
Halloween sucks now, over there. Used to grand and great.
Walking DP drunk as hell on a nice night is fun.

UCSB sucks. They had their haydays back in the 70's and 80's. They're only known for turning smoke to coke.

UCSB is alright untill you get the lifestyle into habit and then sh1t, its your junior year and your GPA is all crap.....
Me being an engineering major, there was no good looking chicks in my classes so I had to take courses like Art history or human sexuality to meet'em.

By the way I was in school when there was a rather big parking lot right next to engineering. Now you engineering fat asses have to walk all the way from MESA structure.... HA HA

by the way, wayne, that whole DP thing grew very old on me right after my freshman year --- probably after the second half of my sophomore year. Alcohol shmalcohol, but you can only drink so much cheap beer.......

Cal Poly, eh? I went there for a year ... stupid no undecided major. I hate Cuesta...

Anyway, UCSB is pretty awesome ... other than the fact that I hate the beach but I certainly love the area. I've vacationed in SB many, many times.

eww .. i wouldn't spend a dime in Santa Barbara to vacation there. But, while i was there, I did enjoy spending 15 bucks @ Something's Fishy and eat rolls till i cried.
