Who has a T1i around here ?

So guys,

I recently bought a T1i, and in some darker settings on the NO FLASH setting, my pictures come out darker (obv) but with a red tint/hue to it. Has anyone also seen it ? I wanted to exchange my camera for another one, but when i was about to exchanche, i saw the new body being from Taiwan vs mine being from Japan. Because of this, i did not exchange it.

Any tips/tricks i should know about this camera ?

Thanks !

can you post an example? I don't think it is something wrong with the camera, just perhaps a misunderstanding of what the camera is doing

I have a T1i. I put through 12.7k shutter actuations. I've shot sports, indoors, club environments, weddings... it's a nice camera.

This might be a white balance issue but can you post some images? If you're shooting in RAW this doesn't sound like a huge problem.

Yeah ill try to post some.

My buddy said the same thing, might be a WB setting issue. I had set it on NO FLASH and AWB setting, and it had a red hue.

Do you guys have any idea of a good video program ? windows movie maker is trash, so dont really wanna use that, and want to use the 1080p output of this camera to good use.

AWB is never perfect. I know Canons have had trouble in tungsten light indoors in the past... Maybe they finally rectified it. Dunno. It's all adjustable in RAW anyway so it's no biggie for me.
