There is a surgery that the doctor wants to try after he has exhausted the meds. It involves inserting an electrode by the Occipital Ganglia and running a wire from it (under the skin) to a pulse implant (kinda like a pacemaker) that would be implanted at the front of her shoulder. When a headache begins, she would activate the pulse and it's supposed to confuse the nerve center and abort the headache.
On the better news front, we got into a new Chiropractic/Phys. Therapy/Massage Therapy clinic. After X-rays, she has been diagnosed with a SEVERE inverse curvature of the neck. This could easily be the antagonist for the headaches. She has started treatment 3 times a week, so we'll see what happens.
