Ricky got booted off.. I'm pissed... that kimberly bitch can't sing... she's hott, but she just can't sing...

It's hotness that matters now. If you can't sing, there are all sorts of filters and synthesizers for sale now that'll make your voice sound like it's perfect.

The fans vote them off, not Simon. All the judges loved Ricky's performance but that didn't stop him from getting the axe
Not to the discriminating listener. That is only true now because people have no idea what good singing talent is anymore. I'd like to see you make ANYONE sound anywhere near as good as Liz Fraser does with any amount of equipment you want. I bet most don't even know who she is.

1. carmen may be "hot" but she can't sing AT ALL. she has pitch problems every week, she can't keep her voice from warbling (its not controlled at all)
2. kim c may be "hot" but she can't sing in the upper registers. she BUTCHERED the bryan adams song.
3. kim locke has the same prob - she cannot hit songs in the upper registers.
4. trenyce can outsing all the girls but not the guys (well maybe josh) but she won't win. the "record" she has is going to hurt her.
5. josh is your all american boy, but his country twang is gonna limit him
6. rickey wasn't going to win but he certainly deserved to stay longer than kim c and carmen.
7. clay needs to stop singing slower songs and reach out. i really want him to
8. ruben is so freaking smooth. he'll get a deal if he doesn't win.

At the beginning, I was sure that Carmen would be voted off as she was in the bottom the week before and even thou I liked her Blondie song this week, the judges didn't.

Why was? Not anymore? I know CT is history but I still don't tire of their music. But then again I only just discovered them about a year or two ago.

I take this show as tv entertainment. I don't put in a vote afterward, and I'm sure NONE of you do either. SO, with that said... why can't we root for the good looking people and not the talented people?
Since Julia DeMato is gone, the only person keeping me watching is Kim C ... I'd love for her to win so we can see more of her... but that most likely won't be happening.
Carmen isn't that great looking... and her "thing" with Simon is getting annoying (and obvious)... so she needs to go.

i really wish that they would announce the vote totals (trenyce, you received the 4th highest amount of votes, and you are safe this week) etc. a little credibility would be nice.
considering this is a show looking for the next "superstar" and that the main thing they do is sing and not wal around in skimpy outfits, voting for someone purely on looks goes against the idea of the competition.
