Who got a PS2?...and what are some good games?

So who all got a playstation 2?

I got three of them

Now I need to know what are some good games to get.

I'm thinking about getting ssx and smugglers run.

I would have pre-ordered 3 if I would have known I could sell them to a bunch of idiots on egay...or hell, just go outside a walmart and some nimrod will probably offer you $800 for one.

I would recommend SSX, it's a really cool game. I've heard good
things about Madden 2001, Dead Or Alive 2, and Tekkan Tag
Tournament but haven't played them yet.

Don't get Unreal Tournament, it blows chunks.

I agree with FS, the graphics are carbon copies of the PC version...which is child's play for PS2.

Also, you can't choose how many bots you want to play or where you want to play in single player mode. If you want to play the 4 player mode, you need a multitap.

Well I got one (thank god), and I think the Best 2 games are DOA2:HC, and SSX.
God I love my PS2.

I heard that UT for PS2 had inferior graphics to the PC version.

The dreamcast version of UT will rock.

Yeah, UT for PS2 was a real dissapointment, OK graphics, but the game runs at a dissapointing 25-30 fps

anyone know if Summoner for PS2 is any good?

I have my PS2 on eGay. the first day they sold for $1000-$1500. but the prices fell. i should have put my PS2 on eGay ahead of time! Now they're going for like $500-$600 . I will probably play my PS2, get attached to it, and just wait and see what they're going for around Christmas time.

I really needed that $1k!

All of the reviews I've read regarding Summoner have been favorable for the most part, actually. That's the first I've read that totally bashed it. I'll let you know what I think when my copy arrives on Monday.

I've been playing Ridge Racer and Tekken all weekend. Ridge Racer is exactly what you'd expect it to be: pretty much the same gameplay as the first four games, with some prettier graphics. Tekken is definitely a great fighting game, also.

While I'm not into sports games at all personally, reviews of SSX have been overwhelmingly positive.

Metal Gear Solid 2 should be good when that gets released.

Tekken Tag and Ridge Racer V look good.

I wonder how the FF series'll look on the PS2?
