Sooo... who goes to R.I.T.?
I'll be a senior next year and the clock is ticking.
Can anyone comment on it? I haven't exactly read great things on that student review site. Aside from the bitter cold, and "brick city," is there any else you might want to comment on?
Also, I heard the male:female ratio is teh sux... Is it really that bad?
Can someone elaborate on the schedule? I was told by an unreliable source that there are no summer breaks??? :Q
Thinking about going for Electrical or computer Engineering.
I think I can definitely get in. My only doubt is about receiving a scholarship.
I have a ~ 94 or so average, but I have been told it will get scaled higher because of all the weighted honor courses. All the courses in my H.S. are supposedly honor or something like that. It's one of those selective H.S. that you have to be really smart to get in, or so I'm told. 😛 Actually, the only reason why my average is pretty low is because I've been slacking off in H.S. and haven't even bothered trying. My math/science/computer science grades were making up for my lower english, history, humanities, etc courses which my school puts emphasis on. I'll actually try and put some effort this year.
Planning on taking the SAT II in physics at the end of the year. Did ok on the bio, but that wasn't my strength. Skipped the chem one, but I know I'll do good on the physics one.
SAT math is easy, I've taken a few practice tests. Only part I'm worried about is the essay...
Any suggestions or advice?
