Where I'm at now (at Clemson) is pretty nice. It's an on-campus apartment. Some of the benefits of living off-campus (quieter, car is closer, etc.) but with the benefits of still being on campus (close to class, people that I know, internet, etc.). While Clemson is notoriously bad for having bad dorms (they were in the top 20 of some list my mom read a few years ago for dorms that are the most like dungeons), this one is actually pretty nice, as was the suite-style room I stayed in last year. There are some places that are no good, though - I lived in one as a freshman - but the quality here isn't too terrible.
